Bring awareness to your feet.
One thing that i've started doing ever since moving here is joined a Yoga Class.
I joined some classes before while in PG, but wasn't interested enough to continue. Most of the time, i will join the 1st trial session, then i lost the interest and didn't continue.
But this time, it's totally different. I believe it's different because of the instructor. Just like any class, it's important that we can 'connect' and trust the instructor. Another good quality that the instructor should really pocessed is the ability to articulate the steps very well. Move you right foot between your hands, bend your left knees, move your left foot to meet your right foot, hold your ankles and slowly stand up to a mountain pose. ... etc and etc.
I used to have an instructor that told me to 'bring awareness to your feet', and there i was don't know what to do. Now, what do you think i should be doing ? :)
As i was doing my downward facing dog position during the class, i've came to realize how much i actually enjoyed this. I cannot place my heel completely on the floor before but now i can :) It's not too much on achieving the perfect position, but it's more like i've came to challenge myself, push myself a bit harder and made it :) Now, that's yoga to me.
