Story For Cass

Here i am, sitting in a hair saloon getting an updated look. Well, don't get me wrong, i'm not the adventurous type when it comes to hair cut, i usually don't do boyish cut because i have a rounded face and any boyish cut will look tremendously hidious on me.

Anyway, this new hair cut thingie was triggered by a visit from my sis-in-law. She's a beautiful Shanghai-chic with really good fashion sense. As i was standing next to her the other week, i felt short and old. sort of like a rounded mrs potato ... "Yikes ! i was screaming in my heart, it's time to have an 'updated' look. I've been wearing the same thing i was wearing at least 10 year ago. Jeans and T-Shirt most of the time, shirt and work pants the rest of the time and comfy but not-so-good-looking shoes majority of the time. I thought to myself that i need to get at least 10 years ahead in my wardrobe.

Okay, back in the hair saloon, i was flipping the latest magazines and then Bam, it hit me hard in the face ! The title of the magazine says " Back to 80's" !! Oh yes it's true, the broad shoulder, the high waist, the big-band belt, the tight pants, the shreaded jeans, the denim jackets, the prints and pencil skirts, they are ALL BACK !

What the heck just happen, had i just missed 10 years worth of fashion ? or did i missed anything at all ? since we've just turned a full circle back to the 80's ?! :)
